CNC Maintenance Technician III

Elk Grove Village

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Pay: $36-$44 (depending on experience and shift)

Monday – Friday, 4:20 PM – 2:50 AM (2nd shift)

Monday – Friday, 6am-4:20pm (1st shift)

Overtime and weekend availability required; shift extensions possible during peak production

Machines & Controls

• CNC Machines: Mori Seiki, Toyoda, OKK, Okuma Howa, Okuma, Makino, Niigata, Toshiba, Hami
• Controls: Fanuc and Mitsubishi

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance of production equipment
• Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of CNC production equipment during production
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust machines
• Disassemble and assemble machines as needed to ensure efficient operation
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area

Qualifications

• 2 years of applicable maintenance training and 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in CNC machine tool repair in a Fanuc systems environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance skillset (written skill assessment required)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Specific skills in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, and electrical
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Team player with a positive outlook
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently (heavier weight may be required at times)
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be able to read and write in English
