CNC Machinists and Operators NEEDED ASAP!

Express Employment North Hollywood is seeking skilled CNC Machinists and Operators to join our Local Clients manufacturing team. This role involves operating and setting up machining tools to produce precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and manual machining techniques. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced machinery in a dynamic environment dedicated to quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality components.
• Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Program CNC machinery to ensure accurate production runs, making adjustments as necessary for optimal performance.
• Perform machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to maintain efficient workflow.
• Conduct precision measurements during machining processes using appropriate measurement tools to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.
• Utilize manual machining skills when required, including operating traditional lathes and mills for specific tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices in machine operation.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity of tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as lathes and milling machines.
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency in CNC programming is preferred.
• Skilled in manual machining techniques with knowledge of machining tools.
• Experience with precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, or coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Ability to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment efficiently.
• Attention to detail with a focus on producing precise, high-quality parts.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is highly desirable.
