CNC Machinist

Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

Join a Leading Aviation Manufacturer as a CNC Machinist

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a leading aviation manufacturing operation in Wichita, KS. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on machinists who take pride in precision, quality, and producing high-quality components in a professional, climate-controlled facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of CNC machining experience, with 4–5 years preferred. Candidates should have experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines, reviewing and editing programs, interpreting blueprints, and performing precision inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing travelers to understand part specifications and customer requirements.

• Review and edit CNC programs as needed.

• Load CNC programs and perform machine setups.

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.

• Document required information on manufacturing travelers.

• Perform in-process inspections and verifications to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.

• Identify and resolve machining issues to maintain production quality and efficiency.

• Follow manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience; 4–5 years preferred.

• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.

• Understanding of G-code and CNC program editing.

• Experience using precision measurement and general metrology tools.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
