Job Overview:
GibbsCAM / Mastercam CNC Programmer and Machinist
Experienced CNC Programmer and Machinist skilled in using GibbsCAM and Mastercam software to program, set up, and operate CNC machinery for precision manufacturing. Proficient in interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to produce high-quality parts that meet tight tolerances and customer requirements.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
CNC programming using GibbsCAM and Mastercam software
CNC machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting
Creating, editing, and optimizing toolpaths for efficient machining
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds
Machining precision components to tight tolerances
Performing first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
Using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Editing and verifying G-code and making program adjustments as needed
Identifying machining issues and improving cycle times and production efficiency
Maintaining quality standards, safe work practices, and production schedules
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on CNC professional with strong programming, setup, and machining experience who can take a part from blueprint to finished product while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity.
