We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer for a full-service design, fabrication and production company in Eugene, OR. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using G-code and CAD/CAM software to produce parts according to specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve processes and enhance product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of CNC Lathe experience
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist/programmer, with a strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
- Ability to read measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
