Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines (experience with wire EDM or grinders is a plus)

• Select and install appropriate cutting tools based on program requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Perform shop math, including calculations for dimensions, tolerances, speeds, and feeds

• Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

• Hold tight tolerances and ensure parts meet specifications

• Set up and operate basic manual machine tools as needed

• Complete production tasks accurately and within established timelines

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a CNC Machinist/Operator

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and close-tolerance work

• Knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement tools

• Ability to pass background and drug screening

• GD&T
• CNC Programming
• G-Code
• M-Code
• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
• CAM Software
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis)
