CNC Machinist/Programmer

We are seeking an advanced CNC Machinist with strong programming and setup skills. HyPro Inc. has been in the machining industry for over 50 years and is an excellent place to grow your career.

Key Responsibilities

Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with blueprints
Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Select tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise

Experience

Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required
Must have strong attention to detail
Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
Should have a positive and professional attitude
CNC programming and setup

Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate
Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus
Knowledge of G and M Codes
Experience programming CNC mills and lathes
CNC setup
Familiarity with Solidworks a plus
Solid math skills
Strong computer and office software skills
