Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Vertical Hone Machines and Jig Bores to manufacture precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with Vertical Hone Machines and Jig Bores.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
