Overview

FlexTrades offers 3-6 month Travel contract positions for highly skilled CNC Machinists for Manufacturing clients across the US. We provide hotel accommodations, Travel Pay, $45 per diem, and Overtime.

CNC Set Up Machinist

• Setting up and operating Multi Spindle Lathe

• Index CNC Lathe with 6 spindles

• Expereince with at least 3 Spindles with Bar feeders

• Fanuc Controls

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operate Index CNC machines which are CNC machines equipped with six spindles. These are high tech machines. And each spindle is can operate on three axes.

  • Must have multi-spindle machine experience (at least 3 spindles). All machines are outfitted with bar feeders.

  • Machines are outfitted with Fanuc controls.

• Responsible for operating two machines at a time and each machine is running a different part.

Setup: working w/ setup instructions/sheets and layout sheets for every part number. All tooling and holders are identified and noted as well. Materials are kitted as well

Must Have reliable transportation, and a valid driver's Licence

• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Takisawa)
