This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering extremely high earning potential due to built in overtime hours, a large backlog of work orders, and a 10% shift differential ($30 base rate + $33.00 take home pay)
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes (2-5 axis) for production runs.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure high-quality output.
- Perform machine setups and adjustments to optimize production efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably with CNC lathe operations.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
- Experience with machine setups for production runs.
- Familiarity with CNC tooling and its applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work second shift hours in a union environment.
