This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering extremely high earning potential due to built in overtime hours, a large backlog of work orders, and a 10% shift differential ($30 base rate + $33.00 take home pay)

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes (2-5 axis) for production runs.
Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure high-quality output.
Perform machine setups and adjustments to optimize production efficiency.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably with CNC lathe operations.
Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
Experience with machine setups for production runs.
Familiarity with CNC tooling and its applications.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Willingness to work second shift hours in a union environment.
