Job Overview:

Our client is a U.S.-based precision manufacturer supporting the medical device industry with critical, high-tolerance components. Known for our focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we are looking to add a skilled CNC Machinist to our 2nd shift team to help meet growing production demands.

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling and turning equipment to produce precision components for medical applications. We are looking for someone with strong setup experience and a solid grasp of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes on 2nd shift

  • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications

  • Perform machine setups including tooling, offsets, and basic program edits

  • Maintain part tolerances and surface finishes to print specs

  • Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and indicators

  • Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality

Qualification:

  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience (milling and/or turning)

  • Ability to perform full machine setups and read detailed blueprints

  • Strong understanding of GD&T and precision measurement tools

  • Experience with tight-tolerance parts preferred (medical, aerospace, or equivalent)

  • Willing to work 2nd shift and frequent overtime
