CNC Machinist – Mill, Lathe or Swiss

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a long-term opportunity. Candidates do not need experience with all three machine types. We are open to individuals with strong hands-on experience in CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, OR Swiss CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and/or Swiss machines
• Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, offsets, and workholding
• Load and unload parts and materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Make tool and offset adjustments as needed
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Monitor machines to maintain quality and production requirements
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues
• Deburr and inspect completed parts as needed
• Maintain accurate tolerances and quality standards
• Follow all safety and shop procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous hands-on CNC machining experience required

• Experience with at least ONE of the following:- CNC Mills

  • CNC Lathes
  • Swiss CNC Machines

• Machine set-up experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances

• Familiarity with G-code/M-code and making basic program edits is a plus

• Experience using precision measuring tools

• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues

• Programming experience is a plus but not required

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on CNC Machinist who can confidently set up and operate Mill, Lathe, or Swiss equipment. Candidates with experience in only one of these areas are encouraged to apply.

Position Type: Full-Time | Long-Term

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: $30+/hour, depending on experience

• CNC Swiss Lathe (Star, Hanwha, Yama-Seiki, Citizen, Tsugami, Nomura, Index, Tornos, Ganesh, Eurotech)
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Dmg Mori Seiki, Okuma, Doosan, Nakamura, Index, Hwachon, Eurotech, Miyano, Samsung)
