Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.

  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with lathes and mills.

  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Metal materials usage

  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.

  • Precision Measurement & Hand Metrology
  • Aerospace Manufacturing
