Large parts machining supplies the assembly line with the highest quality parts on time while achieving expected productivity standards.
The responsibilities of a LPM CNC Machinist include:
Setting up large parts for machining while maximizing machine utilization
Quality control of weldments and machined parts
Keeping work areas clean to company standard
Following all safety procedures
Working well in the team
Documentation of various processes
Requirements:
4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines
Relevant technical education is a plus
Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used
Being able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required
Being able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work
Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
Having great attention to quality
