We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist III for a full-time opportunity in an advanced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who can handle CNC programming, complex setups, precision machining, troubleshooting, and quality inspection with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines as applicable.
- Perform full machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, probing, and first-piece validation.
- Operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other precision equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM files, models, and GD&T requirements.
- Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to improve quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, mechanical, and process issues in real time.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, pins, comparator, CMM, and other precision tools as applicable.
- Document inspection results and support quality investigations when needed.
- Mentor junior machinists and assist with process improvements, scrap reduction, and cycle time improvements.
- Follow all safety procedures, AS9100 standards, and ITAR requirements.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5+ years of experience as a fully qualified CNC Machinist.
- CNC programming experience required, including G-code, CAM, or conversational programming.
- Strong setup and operation experience on multiple machine types.
- Ability to read advanced blueprints, models, and GD&T.
- Strong knowledge of machining theory, tooling, speeds, feeds, and metal cutting.
- Experience with precision measuring tools and quality documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- Manufacturing degree, machining certificate, or apprenticeship preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and work around industrial equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
- Comfortable working around machining noise, coolant, metals, lubricants, adhesives, and sharp-edged parts.
- PPE required.
