Join our team as a CNC Machinist, where you'll play a pivotal role in our production process by setting up and operating multiple CNC machining centers simultaneously. If you’re a detail-oriented professional with a commitment to precision and quality, this is your opportunity to contribute to high-quality production and drive continuous improvements.

What You Will Do:

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate multiple CNC machining centers simultaneously to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Tool and Instrument Maintenance: Maintain the proper condition of all measuring instruments and ensure optimal cutting conditions on machining centers.
  • Quality and Output Standards: Meet or exceed output goals and First Pass Yield (FPY) requirements, adhering to Certified Operator standards.
  • Blueprint and Process Improvements: Identify and communicate any errors in blueprints and work instructions, and suggest improvements to programs and work-holding for efficiency gains.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Keep work cells clean and hazard-free, adhering to safety and ergonomic guidelines.
  • Aesthetic Finishing: Achieve required part finishes and cosmetics through manual operations as necessary.
  • Cross-Training and Versatility: Gain experience on different types of machining centers to enhance flexibility and skill diversity.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform all required preventative maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation within the work cell.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team stand-ups, contribute to a collaborative environment, and be open to additional responsibilities or overtime as needed.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is $22.93 to $31.02; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
