CNC Machinist II
Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM)
Salary: $24-$30
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll help drive production excellence by maintaining a clean, efficient, and collaborative environment. Your work ensures minimal downtime, consistent quality, and a culture of growth and stability.
Principal Accountabilities
As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will:
- Log time and job data using ERP software
- Interpret work orders, flow sheets, and part drawings to understand job requirements
- Inspect blueprint dimensions using manual gauges
- Load and verify tools and fixtures; fabricate basic fixtures when needed
- Pull and verify correct materials from staging area per WOPAC
- Set up and operate 3-axis mills and basic 2-axis lathe work
- Upload/download CNC programs from programmer to machine
- Align vices and locate fixture centers accurately
- Submit first article and final inspections to Quality Assurance
- Run production parts and conduct in-process inspections
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles
- Perform daily and monthly machine preventive maintenance
- Communicate with Supervisor to ensure successful job completion
- Support all safety and quality system requirements
- Take on additional duties as assigned
- This is a safety-sensitive position
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
We’re looking for a skilled professional who brings precision and pride to their craft:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic proficiency with ERP software.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in:
- CNC Machining
- Blueprint reading
- Manual inspection gauges
- Editing and writing CNC programs
- Strong basic math skills: trigonometry knowledge preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $24-$30. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
