CNC Machine Operators are responsible for operation of CNC Machine
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for CNC machinery, demonstrating proficiency in fixtures, tooling, controls and conducting ongoing equipment maintenance and care
- Conduct minimal deburring and surface protection on workpieces
- Take detailed measurements and preliminary evaluations to ensure workpiece acceptability
- Perform changes and minor adjustments of all tooling and attachments in the machine; troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during machining process
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records relating to production, downtime, quality and other relevant metrics
- Assist in fixture set up
- Consistently meet minimum production output and quality standards
- Responsible for area housekeeping including machine, storage area, etc.
- Ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with current company policies and procedures, especially following safety guidelines
You should be proficient in:
- G-Code
- M-Code
- CNC Machine Setup & Changeover

- CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc)
- CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
- CNC Swiss Lathe
- CAM Software
- CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)
- CNC Lathe (5+ axis)
