Job Description

An automotive, heavy equipment and industrial automation company in Machesney Park, IL is looking for a CNC Machinist (CNC Mills) for a 1st shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• MUST have experience with Mazak Mills, and Mazatrol.
• Set-up machines, modify the program as necessary, install tool registers, and offsets.
• Install fixtures, make machine control settings, and run first piece sample parts
• Check parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints
• Inspect cutting tools for sharpness and continued use
• Monitor the machine, detect malfunctions and make adjustments as needed to control the process

Qualifications:

• MUST have Mazak Mill and Mazatrol experience.
• Must be familiar with editing and programming in Mazatrol
• High School or GED Diploma
• Experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
