Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist is a full-time, on-site role based in Warren, MI. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision parts from bar stock according to detailed engineering drawings and customer specifications. Day-to-day activities include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing routine maintenance checks to ensure safe and efficient operation. The CNC Machinist will inspect finished parts, document measurements, and collaborate with quality personnel to maintain tight tolerances and meet production targets. The role also involves troubleshooting machining issues, optimizing setups for efficiency, and working closely with supervisors and team members to fulfill varying batch sizes and custom orders.Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling, including setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of CNC equipment.
  • Candidates should possess solid Machining and Milling skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and use appropriate tooling for precision parts.
  • Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including measuring parts with gauges and instruments, verifying tolerances, and documenting inspection results.
  • Prior experience as a CNC Machinist or in a precision manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production orders.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safety and cleanliness on the shop floor.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or apprenticeship in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
