CNC Machinist

Location: Waite Park, MN

Pay: $25–$32 per hour (DOE)

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday

• 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Thursday (includes 15% shift differential)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and program CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a strong understanding of blueprints, precision measuring tools, and machine operation. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

• Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, indicators) to inspect parts

• Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met

• Secure materials, tools, and fixtures for efficient operation

• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues or defects

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic machine care

• Assist with programming and adjustments, including 5-axis operations if qualified

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Trade school certificate or equivalent education preferred

• Minimum 6 months CNC machining and manufacturing experience

• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills

• Familiarity with common inspection tools and machine maintenance

• Experience with CNC programming and 5-axis machines is a plus
