Set up, operate and adjust CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision metal components to ±0.0005‑inch tolerances for aerospace, oil‑and‑gas and heavy‑equipment customers.
Read blueprints/GDT and plan machining sequences; load G‑code programs.
Select and set tooling, fixtures and work‑holding; establish work offsets.
Perform first‑article inspections; measure parts with micrometers, calipers, CMM and gauges.
Edit feeds, speeds and tool paths to optimize cycle time and surface finish.
Monitor machine operation; detect wear or vibration and replace inserts as needed.
Document production, SPC data and maintenance checks; maintain 5S work cell.
2+ yrs operating CNC mills/lathes (Fanuc, Haas or Mazak).
Ability to interpret complex blueprints and GD&T; proficient in shop math and trig.
Experience with precision measuring tools and basic program edits (G‑ and M‑code).
High‑school diploma or equivalent; completion of machining apprenticeship or certificate program.
