Job Description

Revere Staffing Partners is hiring four CNC Lathe Operators for an established manufacturing facility in Turners Falls, Massachusetts.

Openings:

• Two 12-hour day-shift positions

• Two 12-hour night-shift positions

• Full-time opportunity

• Pay: $22–$33 per hour, depending on shift, experience and demonstrated CNC skill level

Position Summary

The CNC Lathe Operator sets up, operates and monitors multiple CNC lathes while maintaining production, safety and quality standards. Qualified candidates should have professional CNC experience, print-reading ability and hands-on knowledge of precision inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, change over and shut down CNC lathes.

• Run multiple machines while maintaining production and quality expectations.

• Read shop packs, job instructions, prints and specifications.

• Match tooling, materials, quantities and required operations to each job.

• Identify and load the appropriate machine program.

• Monitor part quality and make permitted machine offsets.

• Inspect dimensional and aesthetic tolerances.

• Use dial and digital calipers, depth gauges, rulers, tape measures and optical comparators.

• Replace inserts and collets and perform routine machine checks.

• Troubleshoot problems arising during normal CNC-lathe operation.

• Load steel bars into bar feeders and assist with material handling.

• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.

• Keep machines and work areas clean and safe.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least one year of professional CNC machine-operation experience.

• CNC-lathe experience.

• Ability to read shop prints and inspect parts against specifications.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments.

• Basic computer and arithmetic skills.

• Strong organization and time-management abilities.

• Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including scheduled weekends.

• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of CNC experience.

• Swiss-lathe experience.

• Independent setup and changeover experience.

• Experience making tool or wear offsets.

• Machining certificate or associate degree.

• Bar-feeder experience.

• Forklift or hoist experience.

• WinCNC or ShopVue experience.
