Job Title:Machinist

Location:Texarkana, AR

Hours:Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Pay:$28 - $30 per hour

Signs necessary paperwork indicating work has been completed to specifications.
Reads Process Sheet, Grinder Log, Roll Inspection Form, and other job paperwork to determine specifications and requirements.
Determines operations to be performed, plans and assists with machine set-up.
Selects and mounts grinding wheel onto machine.
Selects the machine feeds and speeds.
Inspects work in progress to assure compliance to job paperwork.
Change set-up and/or grinding wheel or perform additional operations on the roll.
Inspects and records completed work to assure customer specifications have been met.
Notifies supervisor when job is complete.
Conforms to safety and inspection requirements.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Performs routine maintenance procedures.
Directs Grinder Helper to assure an efficient workflow.
Must be able to operate a lift truck/overhead crane as required.
Must be available for all shifts when necessary.
