Job Description

Job Title: CNC MachinistShift: 1st and 2rd ShiftSalary: $18-24/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce machined parts per blueprints.

• Understand and follow work instructions to ensure compliance with production requirements.

• **Inspect

  ** machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and other hand-measurement tools.

• Load and unload parts efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards.

• **Monitor

  ** machine operations for defects or malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.

• **Change tools

  ** as required to maintain accuracy and tolerances.

• Perform data entry and recordkeeping to ensure accurate production tracking.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience or equivalent training.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience with hand-measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Experience operating multi-axis CNC machines is a plus.

Education:

• **High School Diploma/GED preferred
