CNC Machinist

Location: Rock Hill, SC 29732

Employment Type:Full Time

Timing:12:30pm to 9pm (will flex or they can work 4 x 10s if they want)

Haas Lathes

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (or mills) for production and job shop work

• Program and edit CNC programs at the machine

• Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications

• Select tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment

• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues

• Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of CNC lathe (or mill) machining experience

• Ability to independently set up and run jobs from start to finish

• CNC programming experience required

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and other inspection tools

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Haas CNC lathes (or mills) and Haas controls

• Experience machining stainless steel, alloy steel, and specialty metals

You should be proficient in:

• GD&T
• CNC Programming
• CNC Machine Repair
• Machine Setups for Production Runs
