We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Candidates should be comfortable working with tight tolerances and producing high-quality parts for industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical device, and general manufacturing.
Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, or multi-axis machines to produce precision components.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to maintain specifications.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of CNC equipment.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and team members to improve machining processes.
Maintain accurate records of production runs and inspections.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school preferred.
2+ years of CNC machining experience (milling, turning, or both).
Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming fundamentals.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
Proficient with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection practices.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
Experience with 4-axis or 5-axis CNC machines.
CAD/CAM programming knowledge (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.).
Experience working with a variety of metals and materials (steel, aluminum, titanium, plastics).
Leadership potential to assist in training and mentoring less experienced machinists.
