**Shift: **6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Position Overview:
We're partnering with a growing manufacturer in Paris, IL to hire a CNC Machinist. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components.

What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment according to engineering specifications
- Mount, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, attachments, and workpieces
- Select and install cutting tools and make machine adjustments for optimal performance
- Calculate and set machining parameters, including speeds, feeds, cutting depths, and coolant flow
- Load and execute CNC programs and retrieve machining instructions from the production system
- Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
- Troubleshoot machining issues and correct out-of-tolerance conditions
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify product quality
- Operate machining centers to perform drilling, milling, boring, reaming, and other machining functions
- Maintain accurate production documentation and support inventory and quality requirements
- Keep work areas clean and organized while following all safety standards and procedures
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school training or machining certification preferred
- Three years of CNC machining experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Basic computer skills and ability to work within manufacturing software systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliable work history with strong attendance and dependability
