Job Summary:

Join Our Growing Manufacturing Team. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and producing high-quality precision machined components for aerospace, defense, and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate Brother & FANUC CNC milling machines.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.

Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC milling controls.

Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding for machining operations.

Produce precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment.

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.

Make machine offsets and adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Collaborate with engineering and quality personnel to resolve machining or quality issues.

Follow all company safety procedures and quality management requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines preferred.
• Experience programming and editing controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to maintain tight tolerances and consistently produce quality parts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience machining aerospace or defense components.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience with prototype and short-run production.
