**Manual / CNC Machinist

Heavy fabrication and large-scale machining facility seeking experienced Manual and CNC Machinists to support production of large structural components serving mining, defense and industrial markets.

Machinists will set up and operate 3- and 4-axis equipment and machine components to tight tolerances in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Operate manual and CNC machining equipment
Set up 3- and 4-axis machines
Read and interpret blueprints
Hold tight tolerances
Perform tooling selection and offsets
Conduct quality checks using micrometers, calipers and precision gauges
Maintain safe and organized work area

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
CNC setup experience required
3- and 4-axis experience required
Strong blueprint reading skills
G/M code knowledge preferred
Experience machining large or heavy components strongly preferred
