Department: Machining
Reports To: Production Supervisor
You will be responsible for producing precision-machined parts using CNC mills and lathes, including setup, programming, and operation, while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Set up, operate, and program CNC lathes and mills
Write and edit CNC programs using G & M code on Fanuc controls
Program using CAM software such as Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 (preferred)
Operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment (including Haas, Fadal, and Mori Seiki or similar machines)
Machine parts to tight tolerances, with an emphasis on stainless steel materials
Calculate and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal machining performance
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
Maintain strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
Apply best practices in precision machining
5–7 years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment
Strong proficiency with CNC mills and lathes
Solid knowledge of G & M code programming (Fanuc or similar controls)
Experience with CAM software such as Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 preferred
Experience operating a variety of CNC machines
Familiarity with machining stainless steels, including speeds and feeds calculations
Manual machining experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Required use of safety glasses and steel-toe footwear on the production floor
Ability to stand for extended periods (60–75% of the shift)
