Job Type:Full-Time

Hours:Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st Shift)

Locations:Bolivar, OH & Middletown, OH

Position Overview

As a Machinist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials within tolerance specifications. You'll utilize your expertise to interpret instructions and blueprints, as well as operate a range of equipment, including:

• Manual and CNC lathes and mills

• Horizontal and vertical boring mills

• Horizontal saws

• Overhead cranes

• Forklifts

• And more

Job Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 3-5 years of machine shop experience, ideally in a hydraulics industry setting

• Experience in other industries will also be considered

Skills:

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators

• CNC and manual tooling experience will be required

Attributes:

• Strong attention to detail

• Good judgment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/Carrying: 40 lbs. lift/carry and 50 lb. pull

• Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers

• Dexterity: Normal

• Frequent standing/sitting and movement up and down stairs

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
