CNC Machinist (Lathe & Mill) – 1st & 2nd Shift

Pay:$27.00 – $32.00 per hour

Precision Staffing is hiring experiencedCNC Machinists (Lathe and/or Mill)for a growing engineer-to-order job shop in Mason, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for machinists who enjoy complex setups, precision machining, and non-production work in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

We are seeking true machinists — not button-pushers — who can perform full setups, inspections, and machining with minimal supervision.

Shift Options

• 1st Shift:6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
• 2nd Shift:3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Mon–Fri)
• Flexible start/end times by department
• Overtime available

CNC Machinist Responsibilities

• Perform complete CNC lathe and/or mill setups and machining
• Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and engineering specs
• Conduct First Article and in-process inspections
• Edit or adjust G & M code as needed
• Maintain tight tolerances in a job shop environment
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all shop safety procedures

CNC Lathes

• Mazak QTN-100 / 250 / 350 / 450
• Doosan V420T (Fanuc 18T)
• Manual lathes

CNC Mills

• Toyoda FA800 Horizontal (Fanuc 16i/M)
• Toyoda FV1565 Vertical (Fanuc Oi-MD)
• Haas VF-1 / VF-3
• Hurco VMX 24 / 42 / 50

Qualifications for CNC Machinist

• 2–3+ years CNC machining in a job shop environment
• Lathe and/or mill experience
• Must perform own part & tool setups (not operator-only)
• Blueprint & tolerance reading proficiency
• G & M code familiarity
• Own inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
• Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Hurco, or Haas controls preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team
