Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team in Madison, WI.

**Pay Rate: **$21/hr - $25/hr

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes, mills, or multi-axis machining centers

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions to manufacture precision components

• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for production runs

• Monitor machine performance and make program or tooling adjustments as needed

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments

• Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain product quality and minimize downtime

• Replace worn tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as required

• Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 1-3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.

• Knowledge of G-code editing and basic CNC programming
