**CNC Machinist – Precision, Innovation, Excellence

Manufacturing organization in Littlestown, PA is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join its machining team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced CNC machines, including lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, and 5-axis mills, to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of machining principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and precision.

**Key Responsibilities

**

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

• Perform setups on CNC machines, including lathes, horizontal mills, vertical mills, and 5-axis mills, efficiently and safely

• Layout components to verify stock and ensure machinability

• Operate CNC machine tools, such as vertical turning mills and horizontal boring mills, to machine parts to exact specifications

• Edit CNC programs as needed to ensure accuracy and optimize productivity

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using strong mathematical skills

• Verify component quality using precision inspection tools, including micrometers and Vernier calipers

**Qualifications

**

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• PA State Approved Journeyman Machinist or Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification desired

• Knowledge of G and M codes is a plus

• Strong ability to interpret and work from blueprints
