Purpose / General Description:Setup and perform a variety of complex metal forming tasks including; cutting, milling, turning, bending, polishing and minor CNC programming / offsets to complete the product and prepare for shipping to the next customer.

1st Shift- Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

2nd Shift- Monday- Thursday 4:20pm-2:50am

• Do complex setups, recall and edit programs (Gcode) and make offsets as required to troubleshootandmeetquality&productionrequirementsonvarioustypesofCNCand manual machining equipment
• Fabricatepartholdingfixturesasrequiredtomaintainqualityandsafety
• Load,initiatemachinecycle,unload,cleanandconsistentlyinspectparts
• Bewillingtocrosstrain,andtrainlesserexperienced employeesinthearea
• Organizeandcompletetaskson-timetomeettheproductionschedulerequirements
• Maintainhousekeepingandsafety,preformusermaintenanceofallequipment
• Accuratelyrecordtimeandmaterialdataasrequiredforproductionreporting

Minimum Requirements:

• Highschooldiploma,GEDorequivalent(AssociateDegreeinCNCMachiningisaplus)
• 3-5years’experienceoperatingCNCandmanualmachiningequipment (GibbsCAMsoftware experience preferred)
• Mustbeableto run2-3machinesatonetime
• Abilitytoreadandinterpretblueprintsrequired
• Mustbeabletoreadmeasuringtoolssuchascalibers,micrometers,tapemeasures,etc.
• Thoroughknowledgeofworkholdingsystems,tooling,andsafemachiningpractices
• Mustbeself-motivatedwithademonstratedabilitytomulti-task
• Demonstratedabilitytoworkinateamandactivelycontributetothe successoftheteam
• Goodcommunication(Englishfluency)andorganizationskillswithapositiveattitude
• Mustbeabletoworkovertimeas needed
• Must be physically able to perform all aspects of the job and be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate windows systems required
