Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, program, and operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts, primarily for aerospace and other precision applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Operation:

    • Configure and operate various CNC machines, including 3-4 axis vertical machining centers, 5+ axis mills, and CNC lathes, in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

    • Program machines using G-Code, making adjustments as necessary to optimize production efficiency.

  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues quickly to maintain production flow.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct thorough quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet customer and industry specifications.

    • Maintain accurate production records and complete all necessary documentation.

  • Safety & Collaboration:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

    • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines, and communicate effectively to resolve issues.

  • Technical Interpretation:

    • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide machining processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC tooling.

    • Proficient in G-Code programming and familiar with operating CNC machines from systems such as Fanuc, Okuma, Makino, Mikron, or Dmg Mori Seiki.

  • Experience:

    • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
