Position Overview

three14 group is partnering with several established manufacturing organizations throughout Northeast Ohio to hire CNC Machinists across multiple shifts and experience levels.

We are actively recruiting for opportunities in Cleveland, Aurora, and Stow, supporting manufacturers specializing in precision machining, industrial equipment, and engineered components.

Whether you're an experienced CNC Machinist with setup and programming capabilities or a hands-on machine operator looking to advance your career, we have multiple opportunities to explore.

All positions are direct hire, offering permanent employment directly with our manufacturing clients. These are not temporary or contract assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on the specific opportunity and experience level, but may include:

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, and other precision machining equipment.

• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.

• Machine components to required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.

• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.

• Monitor tooling conditions, machine performance, and production efficiency.

• Support continuous improvement, safety, and preventative maintenance initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications & Experience

We are considering candidates with varying levels of CNC machining experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.

• Experience with CNC setup, tooling, offsets, and machine adjustments.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand machining tolerances.

• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection procedures.

• Experience working with close-tolerance or precision-machined components.

• Knowledge of G-code, M-code, or conversational programming is a plus.

• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar CNC controls is beneficial.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
