Job Overview:

FieldBridge Energy seeks a Houston, TX - based CNC Machinist to work for one of the world’s largest oilfield equipment manufacturing companies. Weekly pay + benefits.

Pay / Schedule: $29-$35/hr + $2/hr night shift differential. Day shift (6am - 2:30pm) or Night shift (4pm - 2:30am). 10-15 hrs of OT available weekly. 100% Onsite. Great opportunity for OT pay. At 55 hrs per week for example, earn weekly paychecks of $2,062.50 on days or $2,187.50 on nights gross.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a seasoned CNC Machinist to join a fast-paced machining team in Houston. You will set up and run CNC lathes, including vertical turning lathes, to turn large, high-value components that go into equipment used in oil and gas operations around the world. Parts here are big, often 50-60" in diameter, so your skill directly decides whether a part ships on time and within tolerance. You will work with minimal supervision, prove out your own programs, and see your work leave the floor. Strong performers get a clear path toward direct hire.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including FANUC-controlled VTL/VTC and horizontal lathes, with minimal supervision
  • Load and unload parts, enter work and tool offsets, and select fixtures, tooling, and cutting parameters
  • Prove out programs and run first articles before the full production run
  • Inspect parts throughout the run to hold dimensional and surface finish requirements
  • Document work order routings and hand off shift notes on issues and open needs

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience, with stable work tenure
  • Hands-on experience with FANUC controls
  • Experience with a vertical turning lathe (VTL) or 4-jaw chuck setups
  • Experience machining large parts (50-60" diameter)
  • Understanding of G and M codes and the ability to learn conversational programming
  • Technical school or vocational training preferred

Equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.
