Job Description

Aegis is partnered with a precision manufacturing company that is hiring CNC Machinists to support continued production growth. This is a hands-on machining role, not soley button pushing, where you’ll set up and run jobs start to finish on CNC mills and lathes producing tight-tolerance metal components.

This shop is known for long employee tenure, cross-training, and internal growth. Strong performers are converted and developed long term.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and run CNC mills and lathes independently

• Load and adjust programs at the machine

• Edit feeds, speeds, and offsets

• Work from blueprints and GD&T requirements

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspection

• Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges

• Machine stainless, carbon steel, and aluminum

• Troubleshoot tool wear and dimensional drift

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years CNC machining experience

• Setup-to-completion experience

• Mill and lathe background

• Blueprint + GD&T knowledge

• Experience with Fanuc / Haas / Mazak / Okuma controls

• Comfortable editing G & M code

• Multi-axis experience

• Mastercam exposure

• Programming ability

• Technical trade schooling
