Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and automated machinery safely and efficiently

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and hoists

• Perform basic to intermediate machine setups, including tool changes, fixture adjustments, offsets, and minor program edits

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and machining specifications

• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measurement tools

• Monitor machine performance, identify tool wear, and troubleshoot minor mechanical or program issues

• Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and documentation

• Perform routine machine maintenance such as lubrication, coolant monitoring, and chip management

• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, and quality standards

• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S workplace practices

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of CNC machine operation experience required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and machining instructions

• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and material-handling equipment

• Strong experience with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, and other precision tools

• Solid understanding of tooling, feeds and speeds, offsets, and basic troubleshooting

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Reliable work ethic, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
