Carr Machine & Tool is hiring!We’re a fast-paced, high-precision CNC shop looking for a motivated individual to join our team as aCNC Machinist. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a clean, technology-driven environment focused on 5-axis machining and lean manufacturing.

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid after 6 months of employment)

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC machines using documented work instructions inProShop ERP

• Load/unload parts and verify quality using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• With Qualified experience setup 3, 4, or 5-axis mills

• Submit in-process checks (IPCs) to Quality at scheduled intervals

• Monitor tools, coolant, chip flow, and alarms to ensure consistent part quality

• Perform basic shop support: deburring, cleaning, chip removal

• Communicate part or machine issues to your Shop Lead

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 6+ months experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and use basic metrology tools

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow documented processes

• Positive attitude and desire to grow in a high-performance team environment
