We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our high-performance manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming both manual and CNC machines to produce precision components for turbomachinery and industrial assemblies.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires a solid understanding of machining principles, G-code programming, part inspection, and the ability to work with tight tolerances. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, quality-focused, and willing to work extended hours—including Saturdays—as part of a committed team.
Set up and operate CNC and manual machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders
Program and modify G-code directly at the machine for various operations (turning, milling, drilling, threading)
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and part specifications to determine correct machining processes
Adjust feeds, speeds, and tool paths to optimize cutting efficiency while maintaining tight tolerances
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges to ensure quality
Document machining parameters, quality checks, and part traceability as required
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve part or process issues
Follow all safety protocols and cleanliness standards in the machining environment
Participate in continuous improvement activities related to machining efficiency and quality
Must be available to work 50–70 hours per week
Saturday availability is required; overtime is frequent and expected based on production demands
Willingness to work early morning shifts, evenings, and occasional extended hours
