Job Description

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus is hiring CNC Machinists and Manual Lay Operators in the Danville, IL area. Candidates must have previous hands-on experience in CNC machining and/or manual lay operations.

Pay & Schedule

• Full Time
• Monday–Friday
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Starting Pay: Approximately $24/hour

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery and/or perform manual lay operations
• Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and follow job specifications, measurements, and work instructions
• Measure parts accurately and maintain quality standards
• Monitor equipment and production processes
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience with CNC machining and/or manual lay operations required
• Strong mechanical and manufacturing skills
• Ability to read and follow measurements and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
• Willingness to complete a hands-on skills test as part of the interview process

Interview Process

Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a hands-on test during the interview to demonstrate their CNC machining and/or manual lay experience.
