**About the Role: **

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 3-5 axis mills. This is a great role to cross train on various machines working on low production parts.

With opportunities on both 1st and 2nd shifts, hours are flexible and overtime is not uncommon - most of the team works 50-60 hour weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers
  • Install tooling, fixtures, and work offsets
  • Load, edit, and prove out CNC programs (e.g., G-code)
  • Perform first article inspections and in-process checks using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators)
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain tolerances
  • Troubleshoot machining or tooling issues
  • Maintain machine cleanliness and basic preventative maintenance

**Qualifications: **

  • 2–5+ years CNC milling setup experience
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Proficiency with measuring instruments
  • Experience with common controls (Fanuc, Haas, etc.)
  • Ability to edit G-code at the machine
  • Knowledge of tooling, speeds/feeds, and materials (aluminum, steel, plastics)
  • Basic math skills (trigonometry helpful)
  • High school diploma or trade school certification (preferred)
