Job Description

The CNC Machinist operates and maintains CNC lathes and milling machines to manufacture and repair precision mechanical components used in industrial paper production equipment. This role ensures high-quality output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Our client is base in Conroe, TX

Monday - Friday: 5:00 a.m - 1:45 p.m

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes and milling machines based on technical drawings and specifications
• Manufacture, modify, and repair precision components for production machinery
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure tolerances are met
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments
• Troubleshoot machining issues and report equipment or quality concerns to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety standards

**Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe and/or mill preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
• Experience with precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
• Basic knowledge of G-code and program adjustments
• Experience working with industrial equipment or heavy machinery

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
