Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines using Mastercam software to produce parts according to specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to ensure accuracy in machining.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-Code and M-Code for efficient production.
• Utilize CAM software to create and modify machining programs as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC tooling and programming.
• Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming languages.
• Experience with GD&T and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with CAM software, particularly Mastercam.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
