Job Overview:

About iSC

iSC Manufacturing has built heavy bulk material handling equipment in North Texas since 1976. We make screw conveyors, mixers, bucket elevators, silos, and large custom weldments for mining, energy, food, and industrial customers across the country. Our plant covers almost 200,000 sq ft on 75 acres. We’re growing, investing in new equipment, and have major programs on the floor right now. That means steady work and room to move up.

The Job

You’ll machine shafts, hubs, flanges, bearing housings, and other precision parts that go into large conveyor and processing equipment. You’ll mostly work in carbon and stainless steel, with parts that can be big and heavy.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and run CNC lathes and mills
  • Read and work from engineering drawings, GD&T, and work orders
  • Edit programs and optimize them at the machine (G-code, Haas control)
  • Do first-article and in-process inspection with mics, bore gauges, indicators, and height gauges
  • Run manual lathe and mill work when the job calls for it
  • Keep your machine and work area clean, safe, and maintained
  • Work with welding, assembly, and engineering to keep jobs on schedule

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe/mill experience strongly preferred)
  • Able to set up on your own, not just run parts
  • Solid blueprint reading and measuring skills
  • Experience with large-diameter or heavy parts is a big plus
  • Manual machining experience is a plus
  • Fusion 360 or other CAM experience is a plus
  • Comfortable using overhead cranes and rigging heavy parts safely
  • Reliable, takes pride in the work, and wants to stay for the long haul

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on skill and experience

  • Health / dental / vision insurance

  • Paid holidays and PTO

  • Overtime available

  • New equipment and a growing shop
