Job Description

Hours: 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts available

Pay: $20-$35 based on experience

Location(s): Appleton, Kimberly, Oshkosh, Waupaca

Duties:

• Responsible for operating multiple machines simultaneously, specifically Swiss lathes. This involves monitoring the machines, ensuring they run smoothly, and making adjustments as needed.
• Receiving orders through various methods such as Kanban and line stock, and effectively managing production orders.
• Setting up and operating machines within the cell, ensuring they are configured correctly.
• Utilizing various inspection tools to measure and inspect parts to meet quality standards.
• Managing the ordering of materials and tooling required for production.
• Handling the shipping of materials, including finished products or components.

Qualifications:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• A Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in a Machine Tool program or 2+ years of previous experience is required
• 1 year of experience with mathematics, blueprints and measuring devices required
• Must be able to do set-ups
• Must have the ability to comprehend and perform SPC charting and make adjustments on machines to meet print specifications
• Position requires a team player, a self-starter with good communication skills
• Cross training is required on a regular basis
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift and have the ability to lift 50lbs continuously
